Do you wanna see what my room looks like? I was proud to be able to have it all clean & organized before I left for the cruise, but now everything’s back to being the way it seems to be these days. Guess this is what DIY crafting pretty much your entire wedding looks like.
Look at my clean desk:
There’s the green wedding inspiration binder & the new whale mug I picked up at Target last week. Then you have a 4 Michael’s bags on the floor filled with wedding crafts I have yet to start. Then we turn to the rest of my room.
Like my floor arrangement? So fung shui, right? Let’s see, what’s actually on the floor….
Of course, my cushions & pillows. Gotta be comfortable. Then there is my big blue purse, my computer, some coupons, the wedding book Lauren made for me (I’m finally using it!!), my journal, my trashcan, folders that organize all of my bills, the cupcake flowers I was working on, some photobooth glasses I just picked up, proof of my wedding invitations, more bags from Michael’s & A.C. Moore. The green cardstock (in the left) is for my most current project: paper flowers…not ready to reveal just yet.
That’s not even all of it, but you get the idea. I have lots of stuff to do. Lots. & slowly I am working through my projects. Hopefully soon, I can finish certain projects before I start others that really need to get going.
And I’ve come to realize something. I’m not going to get everything blogged as soon as the project is finished. I do have a life to live. And I’m okay with that. I figured that if I don’t get to posting some of my DIY crafts before the wedding, I’ll just share them with ya’ll after. This might seem like a “Duh!” decision, but it’s kind of taken a small weight off my shoulders. I just thought I should let ya’ll know. It’s not that I don’t want to share these really cool projects, I just can’t share them all before the wedding. I hope ya’ll can forgive me.
Okay, enough procrastinating on my computer. It’s back to cutting more cardstock. Have a great Wednesday night!!
